Surveying for the expansion of Stadelhofen railway station
Stadelhofen station in Zurich is a central bottleneck on the main S-Bahn line. In order to be able to cope with the volume of passengers in the future, the station is being expanded from three to four tracks and the adjoining Reisbach tunnel from one to two tracks. Basler & Hofmann is leading the planning consortium. The project also includes extensive surveying work.
The surveying work includes the provision of basic data from the official surveying and service pipes for the planning community. Where no or too little data is available, the basic data is compiled in the form of digital terrain models. Special objects are recorded using laser scanning. We also support the planning approval process, maintain the fixed point network and assist the planning community with measurements and monitoring.
