The Sihltal-Zürich-Uetliberg-Bahn SZU has introduced a railway information systems (railway GIS) to optimize the planning, maintenance and management of its facilities and to standardize its data. Basler & Hofmann was responsible for setting up the GIS system and is now responsible for its ongoing operation and further development.
