When the roof of the administration building of the Basel General Vocational School was renovated, the tiles of the hipped roof were replaced with a full-surface in-roof photovoltaic system. The result is an aesthetically pleasing and powerful system with 348 kilowatts peak.

We took on the technical planning responsibility for the in-roof photovoltaic system on the listed building. The aim was also to prevent possible glare in the neighborhood by means of clarifications. Our photovoltaics team carried out the system planning from the feasibility study through to commissioning and provided a turnkey solution. The finished system blends harmoniously into the architecture of the building and contributes to sustainable energy generation.
