Redevelopment Schlösslistrasse Meggen

Schlösslistrasse in Meggen is the main traffic artery into the town center and is also used by buses from the Lucerne public transport company. Roads are being completely renovated and partially redesigned to improve traffic safety.

Schlösslistrasse in Meggen, Canton Lucerne, is a 1st class municipal road. As the main arterial road, it forms the local connection to the town center. The Roads is in a poor condition and is to be extensively renovated. At the same time, a 30 km/h speed limit is to be introduced and road safety is to be improved with structural measures. The bus stops operated by Verkehrsbetriebe Luzern AG vbl will be made barrier-free in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act.

The road surface will be renewed and the road space partially redesigned. The service pipes will also be renovated. The road drainage will be built in a new separate system. As part of the project, main water pipes will be renewed and maintenance work will be carried out on communication lines.
