The listed "Alte Gewerbeschule" on Petersgraben in Basel is being extensively renovated, converted and extended as part of its conversion for the University of Basel. We are supporting the project with a comprehensive QS consulting mandate for structural engineering and earthquake-resistant design.

We have taken on a QA consulting mandate on behalf of the Canton of Basel-Stadt, covering the phases from pre-project planning to commissioning. Our services include reviewing the technical solutions of the civil engineering company with regard to structural engineering and earthquake-resistant design, assessing the tender documents and providing quality assurance during construction. In this way, we ensure that the listed building meets modern requirements in terms of Safety and Security and functionality without losing its historical charm.
