Expert: Route des Nations, Geneva
The Route des Nations connects the international quarter of Geneva with the airport over a length of 1.2 kilometers. 80 percent of it runs underground. Basler & Hofmann accompanied the challenging construction project in the center of Geneva as the client's expert.

The Route des Nations was opened to traffic after more than six years of construction. The new connection consists of a 491-metre-long two-lane Road Tunnels, which was built by mining in water-bearing granular soil directly beneath the built-up area, two cut-and-cover tunnels and two open stretches.
