Client survey Prime Tower

The 126 meter high Prime Tower, once the tallest building in Switzerland, sets a striking urban accent in Zurich-West. As the client's surveyor, we developed the surveying concept and took on extensive measures for construction control and building monitoring.

Located in the immediate vicinity of Hardbrücke railway station, the Prime Tower by Gigon Guyer Architekten is 126 meters high and dominates the up-and-coming Zurich West area. The structure, which, contrary to the usual perception of high-rise buildings, expands upwards and has an irregular octagonal floor plan, required the utmost precision in all work steps. We carried out extensive surveying work, including the creation of the fixed point network, setting out and construction checks. In addition, we carried out settlement measurements and deformation measurements on the new construction and surrounding buildings as well as track monitoring at the nearby Hardbrücke railway station.
