Zwhatt traffic infrastructure, Regensdorf
A new urban quarter is being built on the former industrial site in Regensdorf, which is regarded as a model project for climate-adapted urban development. Basler & Hofmann is responsible for the project planning of all service pipes (electricity, district heating, telecommunications, Water, gas, groundwater heating) as well as the wastewater and rainwater drainage system across all phases and in coordination with all parties involved. Several aspects contribute to the particular complexity of the task: Plant pipeline infrastructures have to be decommissioned, demolished, relocated and completely rebuilt. Among other things, the in-situ concrete main collector sewer (1300 / 1250 mm) was relocated over a length of 145 meters within the area. A particular challenge is coordinating the planning with the planning teams of the individual construction areas, who are implementing their projects in a staggered manner.
