With the "Zurich-Winterthur multi-track" project, SBB is expanding the busy double-track connection between Zurich and Winterthur. Basler & Hofmann is the test engineer responsible for the engineering structures.

The bottleneck in rail traffic is to be eliminated with a new double-track line. Basler & Hofmann is responsible for the indepedent technical peer review of around 40 engineering structures - including underpasses, flyovers, pedestrian underpasses, platform roofs, culverts, cut-and-cover tunnels, bridges, overpasses and impact measures.
