The grounds of the Triemli City Hospital were not sufficiently protected against flooding and surface runoff. The hospital therefore commissioned a risk analysis. Basler & Hofmann designed site and building protection measures and supervised their implementation.

Following flood damage and due to the risk of flooding according to the risk map, the building insurance company requested a risk analysis for the Triemli City Hospital site. Based on this, Basler & Hofmann developed site and building protection measures to protect against flooding in the surrounding streams and surface runoff. These measures were coordinated with all the specialist departments involved and were efficiently implemented together with a neighboring project by the civil engineering department.
