Pedestrian underpass in Boswil
The new pedestrian and cycle path underpass crosses two railway tracks and a road 80 meters south of Boswil-Bünzen SBB railway station and connects the municipalities of Boswil and Bünzen. In order to keep the restrictions caused by the construction work to a minimum, the 30-metre-long underpass was built in the track area using prefabricated elements - two short partial closures were sufficient for this.

In the track area, the underpass, which lies in the groundwater, was constructed in two stages during partial closures using prefabricated elements. Because of the two ramp structures, each 90 meters long, neighbouring buildings had to be partially underpinned and the adjacent Roads and properties had to be adapted and redesigned.
