Municipality of Glarus: Road condition integrated in GIS
The municipality of Glarus set itself the goal of establishing an IT-supported maintenance management system for Roads, sewers and engineering structures. Basler & Hofmann developed a solution with which the road condition can be managed in the municipality's own GIS.

With the "Stratus Infra" software, Basler & Hofmann has a tool that can be used to manage the value preservation of municipal infrastructure such as Roads, sewers and engineering structures. For the municipality of Glarus, the GIS team developed an interface to the municipality's geoinformation system. In this way, those responsible in the municipality not only receive spatial information via the GIS, but also a visual overview of the condition of the Infrastructure and planned projects.
