High-containment laboratories in a historic building

A modern, rapidly deployable, and reliably operated high-containment laboratory is essential for modern infection research and the provision of special diagnostic expertise in crisis situations. We are supporting "Łukasiewicz - PORT" in the planning and realisation of this laboratory, taking into account the structural conditions of the building and efficient work processes and ensuring implementation of state-of-the art biosafety measures. The high-containment laboratory will be the first of its kind in western Poland and one of only a few in the country.
