Brünig-Meiringen cantonal road: Renewal of engineering structures
The Brünig Gnoll-Meiringen cantonal road is over six kilometers long and serves as a bypass for the Brünig Pass road. The weight limit of 28 tons will be lifted. Several retaining walls will therefore have to be upgraded. In addition, two leaning bridges will be renewed as part of the project.
Two new replacement structures with large bored piles are being built for the Lässli and Niwfuren leaning bridges. In addition, a total of six retaining walls with natural stone cladding, which are now founded on micropiles, are being upgraded. The construction work was carried out under traffic.
