Biosafety consulting for a new BSL2-BSL4 laboratory complex in India
The biotechnology research centre of the Indian state of Gujarat, the internationally renowned Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre (GBRC), is to build a new laboratory complex including BSL4 laboratories in Gandhinagar on behalf of the Ministry of Science and Technology. As international experts in biosafety for high and maximum safety laboratories, we are supporting GBRC from the conception of the entire laboratory complex to the operational start.

The GBRC's new laboratory complex will expand research capabilities at BSL3, ABSL3 and BSL-4 level and for veterinary medicine at BSL-4 level in India, enabling future-driven, cutting-edge research in infection biology. The research complex also includes BSL2 laboratories and supply and service areas. As the biosafety consultant (BSC) for the entire project, we are contributing our expertise and experience to the large-scale project, particularly for the high and maximum safety laboratories - from the laboratory concept through all planning, construction and implementation phases to support the government certification and the operational launch.
