3. Tunnel Rosenberg tube: BSA
The Rosenberg Tunnel on the A1 in St. Gallen, which was built in 1987, needs to be extensively renovated in the 2030s. To make this possible, a 3rd tunnel tube must be built to accommodate traffic during the redevelopment. Basler & Hofmann is responsible for the Tunnel East as well as the operation and security equipment.

The operation and safety equipment will be designed to meet the current FEDRO specifications, whereby the equipment level for the section concerned is "high" with possible use of the emergency lane in the tunnel. The OSA equipment includes all specialist areas from energy supply, lighting and ventilation to signaling and monitoring systems.
