Stefan Wehrli
Head of Sustainability
Stefan Wehrli originally qualified as a draughtsman for heating systems before going on to study Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences of Central Switzerland and then moving directly to London to work as a project engineer and site manager in building services. Back in Switzerland, Stefan Wehrli joined Basler & Hofmann as a building services project manager in 2007. He develops innovative energy concepts for facilities and buildings, working on municipal energy planning projects and supervising operational energy enhancements. He has travelled widely with his projects, which have taken him as far as South Africa. Stefan Wehrli has an Executive MBA, which he completed on a part-time basis at the Private Hochschule Wirtschaft (PHW) Zurich. Today, as head of the Sustainability department, he advises clients in energy-efficient and sustainable building. He also teaches architecture students the principles of building services at the University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur.
Whether providing advice on sustainable building, using renewable energies or implementing energy efficiency measures: we are working on finding a solution to the biggest global challenge of our time: climate change.
