What fascinates you about your work?

Photovoltaics is a simple, groundbreaking and multifaceted technology for electricity generation. Having followed the development of photovoltaics from the first applications in Switzerland to the global mass product of today, I still find it exciting, challenging and fascinating, even after more than thirty years in the field.

When do you particularly enjoy a project?

When I can work – alone or as part of a team – towards finding solutions for a complex, interdisciplinary and difficult task!
