Stratus real estate management software with new sustainability feature
With the new sustainability feature of its established portfolio management software, Basler & Hofmann aims to promote climate protection in its building portfolio. The newly launched feature supports real estate managers on their way to net zero. With the adoption of the climate protection initiative, energy-efficient redevelopments are now even more attractive.
70% of the cantons and major Swiss cities use Stratus. Numerous real estate managers from industry, healthcare and education also rely on the digital real estate cockpit. With the new sustainability feature, they can now define and monitor their sustainability strategy with Stratus in addition to structural value preservation and financial planning. The key functionalities of the new software feature are the analysis of the energy status of the entire portfolio, an overview of synergies between structural and energy-related renovation measures and the automatic generation of CO2 reduction paths for the entire real estate portfolio and individual properties.
Driving sustainability in the building stock with digitalization
The software incorporates the knowledge of Basler & Hofmann's real estate, energy and sustainability experts. Statistical data and benchmarks are also included. Thanks to this built-in intelligence, a small amount of master data is sufficient for meaningful analyses. Bianca Brici-Spaar, Product Manager at Stratus, is convinced: "If we want to increase the renovation rate in existing buildings, we need digital tools that combine specialist knowledge and real estate data and provide a holistic basis for decision-making." Operating energy is the first pillar of the new sustainability feature. Further functionalities relating to the sustainability of real estates are in the pipeline, including on the topic of embodied energy.
