Working group "CO₂ efficient economy Aargau"

The members of the working group, which included the responsible government council, the location promotion agency and the Hightech Zentrum Aargau in addition to the major consumers, met four times a year. At each meeting, one of the companies was the host and gave an insight into its operations.

Basler & Hofmann conceived the format and was responsible for the program design and moderation: keynote speeches provided insights into new technologies, initial pilot applications and start-up companies. The framework conditions and obstacles to the implementation of measures were also a topic of lively discussion. Afterwards, there was plenty of room for exchanging experiences and networking. 
The participants appreciated the informal atmosphere of the events, which encouraged them to think ahead together and made the format an "incubator for projects", as one participant put it.
