Volksschulgemeinde Bischofszell: School space planning
The Bischofszell primary school community decided to build a new, expandable school building to meet the growing demand for school space. We supported the primary school community from school space planning through the competition to construction.

In the canton of Thurgau, it is the primary school communities (VSG) that organize and finance their schools independently. In 2017, VSG Bischofszell, which also includes Hohentannen, Zihlschlacht-Sitterdorf and Hauptwil-Gottshaus, commissioned us to carry out a comprehensive analysis of class numbers, the educational concept and the structural condition of all school buildings. Our cost-benefit analysis identified the need for a new, expandable school building. In close coordination with the municipality, we accompanied the competitions and the construction. Particularly noteworthy: the new school building is being built using wood from the municipality's own forest.
