Vibration monitoring Kerenzerberg tunnel

The Kerenzerberg tunnel on the A3 motorways between Weesen and Murg is being extensively renovated. We are monitoring the construction vibrations during the construction of the new safety tunnel in order to protect the Roads and Rail Tunnels as well as the surrounding structures.

The complete renovation is planned between 2020 and 2028. As part of the first main measure, a safety tunnel will be built to supplement the existing tunnel. This will be followed by extensive repair work on the highway tunnel. Our tasks include measuring and monitoring construction and blasting vibrations. To this end, we installed and operate a web platform for data processing. We assess the data in accordance with Swiss standard VSS 40312 and offer special measurement and assessment services for the monitoring and assessment of sensitive installations such as transformers and control centers. Thanks to our expert witness in blasting technology, we can support the client with low-vibration blasting.
