Site development police and justice center PJZ Zurich

The new police and justice center PJZ of the Canton of Zurich was built on the approximately 65,000 square meter site of the former SBB freight station in Zurich-Aussersihl. Basler & Hofmann was responsible for the site development with Roads, the main development and the building connections for the PJZ.

The new police and justice center combines the departments of the cantonal police, the public prosecutor's office and the prison system, the Forensic Institute, the Zurich Police School and parts of the compulsory measures court on a site area of over 30,000 square meters and creates space for over 2,000 workplaces. Basler & Hofmann was responsible for the site development with Roads, the main development with drainage, water supply, electrical and telecommunications systems including all necessary house connections, for the underground and above-ground infiltration systems as well as the retention and pumping systems.
