Lignum: Climate benefits of forests and wood
Lignum, the umbrella organization of the forestry and timber industry, is evaluating how the climate benefits of forests and timber can be optimally exploited. The aim is to develop a common understanding and a strategy along the entire timber chain. We are supporting the association in the strategy process.

As part of the project, a comprehensive assessment of current activities will be carried out. These include, for example, compensation projects or forest climate protection projects. Particular attention is paid to both the mandatory and voluntary market forCO2 certificates in Switzerland. We also support the association in developing options for action and strategic directions for the Executive Board. A central component of the project is the conception and moderation of a workshop for the Board of Directors, in which the strategic goals are to be coordinated and the commitment of all stakeholders consolidated.
