General drainage plan for the Höfe wastewater association

A comprehensive joint general drainage plan (VGEP) was drawn up for the Höfe wastewater association with the municipalities of Freienbach, Feusisberg and Wollerau and the Bennau district of Einsiedeln.

The joint drainage plan includes all sub-projects in accordance with the GEP model specifications of the Association of Swiss Wastewater and Water Protection Experts. The plant register was completely revised as the basis for the GEP. Basler & Hofmann was invited to tender and provided the services for the revision.

Around 70 special structures were also inspected as part of the development of the (V)GEP. These included stormwater tanks, stormwater overflows and pumping stations. The structures were recorded using laser scanners and 360° cameras. This data was used to create three-dimensional as-built models that can be viewed virtually using a web viewer. This provides spatial information that can be used broadly and efficiently for operations and action planning.
