Flood protection Wettingen village stream
Flood protection in the municipality of Wettingen needs to be improved. Flood protection measures are planned to prevent major damage in the event of heavy rainfall. At the same time, the village stream is to be revitalized and its surroundings made attractive for the population. Basler & Hofmann is supporting the municipality throughout the entire project.

The project perimeter encompasses the entire 2.5-kilometre-long section of the stream in the settlement area. In future, flood water will be discharged into the Limmat in a 2-kilometre-long flood relief channel. The stream channel for the base flow will be largely opened up, revitalized and made attractive.
