Escher Canal - Kundertriet widening

The Escher Canal in the canton of Glarus is to be widened and ecologically upgraded in the Kundertriet area. The project serves both flood protection and the revitalization of the watercourse.

In addition to the widening and revitalization of the Escher Canal (Glarner Linth), the project also includes the renaturation of the neighbouring Rütelibach and the rebuilding and upgrading of flood protection dams. The Linthwerk and the canton of Glarus are jointly driving the project forward with the strong involvement of the local population.
