District development and client representation at Komax AG headquarters
We were able to draw up a long-term site development concept for the production site and headquarters of Komax AG in Dierikon and support the implementation of a new construction as the client's representative. The new construction, which follows the concept of the "vertical factory", was awarded the Prixforix in 2021 for its pioneering façade.

Komax, a pioneer and world market leader in automated wire processing, commissioned us with a site development concept for the structural renewal and densification of its production site and headquarters in Dierikon. After examining the feasibility and defining the project, we organized a study contract from which Graber & Steiger emerged as the winner. We accompanied the project until it was handed over to the operation. The extension is characterized by the innovative approach of the "vertical factory", in which the production rooms are spread over several floors and connected by lifts. The building also features a low-tech concept for the building envelope.
