The noise pollution register (LBK for short) forms the basis for any noise remediation projects in accordance with the Noise Abatement Ordinance (LSV). We have already recorded and processed the relevant basic data for over 30 municipalities in the cantons of Zurich and St. Gallen.

In the noise pollution register, the relevant traffic loads and associated emissions are recorded according to the respective road owners. When collecting data for the cantons of Zurich and St. Gallen, we used various survey methods, including side radars, video cameras and manual surveys. We processed and visualized the collected data using geographic information systems.
