Lukas Abächerli
Project Manager
Lukas Abächerli qualified as a draughtsman. After finishing his apprenticeship and obtaining his vocational high school diploma (Berufsmaturität), his thirst for knowledge led him to Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. There, he studied civil engineering and worked as a research assistant at the Competence Centre for Structural Engineering. With his diploma in hand, he joined Basler & Hofmann in 2014 as a project engineer and progressed to project manager. In addition, he continued his education in the areas of building maintenance, concrete repairs and timber construction. He is well-versed in both complex structural designs for new buildings and the renovation and strengthening of existing structures. He particualraly enjoys working on existing structures. He has experience in the renovating and retrofitting of residential buildings, car parks and schools.
I find it fascinating to be able to accompany building projects from the initial project idea to the finished, tangible building – it’s always striking to see how a project develops.
The appreciative and collegial cooperation, both within the company and with external partners. I also like the high degree of quality awareness that is practised in the projects.
