Radon measurement and remediation concept for an elementary school
The revised Radiation Protection Ordinance limits the radon concentration in classrooms to a maximum of 300 Bq/m³. We support an elementary school in measuring and redevelopment in order to protect children's health.

Radon, a naturally radioactive noble gas, poses a health risk. An elementary school was asked to carry out radon measurements. We assisted with the installation of the measuring devices and the evaluation of the results. As the radon concentration exceeded the reference value several times, there was a need for action. Our team drew up a remediation concept and supported the school during implementation with further radon measurements.
